2. Vintage Rose Head Band from Dorothy Perkins! i never buy anything from there but this is so pretty, i love the colours, they are really summery! it was £12.50 but is no half price - £6.25.

3. 3 Pack Pink Floral Glitter Bulldog Hair Clips from new look! its £3.99 & i just liked how cute they are & the colours!

4. Light Blue Floral Hair Bow Barette from etsy! the colours stood out for me & they reminded me of summer! its £5.18 it might be a bit pricey for a bow but its to adorable not to have it! haha

5. Braided Floral Headband from forever 21! its £3.11 & you can get it in other colours too, ivory & fuchsia. i think its such a cute summer hair accessory & it will go with most outfits!

6. Multi Florence Floral Headband from fashion union! its only £3 & i like this one because you can wear any outfit & it will look great!

7. last but certainly not least Three Handmade Emerald Green Silk Butterfly Hair Clips. you can purchase these at etsy or at Kates Cottage Shop - they made them. they are £10 (all three of them). i really like them!

Secrets to a successful sleepover

As today's the official start of summer, and the three of us are having a sleepover, we thought we'd give you our tips on a successful sleepover! Enjoy;

1. Photos

So the first key to an awesome sleepover is pictures. The funnier/weirder, the better! Ipads, cameras, computers or just anything that has a camera is fine, just grab your friends and snap the photos! Filters finish the pictures perfectly and here are a few of the ones we've taken:

  

2. Films

chick flicks are always the best films to watch with your buddies!! 

• one of our favourites is mean girls... we know all the words back to front & on our tops! haha. 
• we also like wild child & its a really funny film that is really great to watch with ya gurlss. 
• pitch perfect is another great film to watch, its funny & has a great cast! 
• angus thongs & perfect snogging is so funny & its a really girly film! 
• mamma mia is a perfect sing-along film which will get you in a the mood for a PARRRTAYYY
• 21 jump street is not really a chic flick but its an action & comedy film with the cutest cast (channing tatum)

3. Food

basically, you need to get the most sugary sweets ever!! haha. 

• popcorn-sweet,salty
• sweets-strawberry laces, fizzy fangs, cola bottles, haribos, flying saucers
• chocolate-buttons, galaxy, wipsa, milky way
• cok,pepsi,lemonade
• smores
• marshmallows
• hot chocolate
• crisps-doritos 

4. Outfits

My sleepover essential is a good pair of pj's (or if everyone has one, a onsie!) With the photos and make-up, your pajamas need to look just as fabulous! I always wear an old top with a cheeky pair of bottoms, which last night had monkeys on. Anna and Chloe opted for the shorts and vest option, which is very good for when we are partying to our party shuffle!
The morning after the sleepover is just as important, since where we were going to see people from our primary we had to dress to impress. I wanted to show people that i am a lot more fashionable then 11 year old me!

Chloe is wearing; Jacket from primark, top from primark and leggings from sainsburys and to finish it off she is wearing new look black boots

I am wearing; jeans from M&S (posh stuff) and a sweater from H&M with a vest top underneath from primark. I am wearing it with my customized converse.

6 summer dresses!!

1. This sailor dress is from asos  (one of my favourite online shops)! the anchor theme was very big & this dress is so cute! its a very summery dress & its £28.
2. This floral dress from shelikes & its very eye catching & its a cute & casual dress for a day out with family or if your going on a date. This dress is only £25!
3. i don't know why i like this... maybe its the colours as they remind me of summer but its cute! Its from zalando but its £50.
4. the next dress is from lispy & the colour definitely stood out for me & the silver belt looks great with it! this dress is £95 but its a good party or prom dress!
5. im not sure why i put this on here but i love sequins!! If you like this dress its actually from amazon & is £19.99... haha
6. i really liked this dress because it reminded me of Georgia in 'Angus, Thongs & Perfect Snogging' when she has her surprise party & she's in that purple dress! This dress is £60 from jones&jones. i really love the colour & the lace on it. you will be the center of attention with this dress - that was so cheesy!

My close family friend recommended to try this chocolate spread as they knew i loved nutella!

it doesn't taste as sweet as nutella & its definitely more healthy. you can purchase this in any local supermarket. in Tesco is only £1.99!

Race For Life... Heroes wear trainers!

Hello everyone!

 

I did race for life this morning at 11 o'clock! 11 o'clock on a Sunday - i don't know how i did it!! its the first time I've done it so i was a bit nervous.

me & my sister Sophia & her friend Alannah & her mum Michelle & my mum & her friend Barbara all ran, jogged or walked 5k.

it was held in Trent park & there is loads of events also happening around the country that you could get involved with. there was loads of stalls to look at & there was a big stage were people danced to help us warm up, it was great fun. there was lots of people (around 5,000) & we all had something in common; to help beat cancer.

there was three sections you could go in, running, jogging or walking, me & my mum went into the jogging section.

i don't know what position i came but my time was 34:00 minuets!! i was really pleased plus i beat my mum hehe...

Cancer has effected many peoples lives including mine & its a great thing to do & i will definitely be doing it next year!

A medal you got when completing the race (we also got a bottle of water & a jam croissant)

Chocolate Cake (Chocolate Victoria Sponge)xx

My mum made a Chocolate Victoria Sponge & put strawberries & icing sugar on top.

I have to say it was delicious - with cream or ice cream its the bees knees!

She got the recipe from a book called 'Baking Book' by Good Housekeeping. 

This book has recipes for cakes, cupcakes, muffins, tray-bakes, cookies, biscuits, cheesecakes, tortes, non-bake cakes, tarts, pastries, breads, special occasion cakes & it shows what baking terms mean. 

I think its a great book.

Ben & Jerry's

I absolutely love Ben & Jerry's ice cream! My all time favorite is Cookie Dough but i didn't have that in my house but i did have Phish Food - which is also extremely delicious. 

i thought i would make a post about it cause i love it so much :)  

I didn't have the whole tub or anything...

After Earth...

Me, Lydia & Chloe went to the cinema on Friday to see After Earth.

Will Smith wrote the film & is also one of the main characters called Cypher. His son Jayden Smith (who is so hot) plays one of the main characters called Kitai.

Its about a man & his son who crash on Earth & everything on the planet will kill humans, they have to try & retrieve a distress beacon which was on the end of the ship that came off when they crashed, will they survive? you will have to see it!!

It is a very action & moving film.
me & my friends started to cry when Jayden was - it was kind of embarrassing but oh well! i definitely recommend you go & see it.

New Jacket

I ordered a new jacket from asos which my friend joni recommended. Its £38 which is £10 cheaper than Topshop & it looks so much nicer! I'm going to wear it to the summertime ball this sunday, and im going with joni, lydia and chloe. I'm going to wear it with a floral skirt, like shown in the picture but blue & a lace holister top with blue vans...

Dinner outside...

It's been really hot this week, which is great as its always cold & rainy!! So my mum made me & my sisters a great dinner.

We had pasta with corn & cod!!
I had a salad cause i'm the only one in my family that like it, with a french dressing on - posh!

I enjoyed the rest of the evening by reading a book called Adorkable by Sarra Manning. Its about a girl called Jeane, who doesn't really fit in with people at school & she dresses really weirdly, her boyfriend doesn't like her anymore & likes a girl called scarlet who is so pretty but she is going out with the most popular boy in school, Micheal! so why does Jeane & Micheal keep snogging when they hate each other?
