Nutella Fact #3

The amount of Nutella produced worldwide in one day is equivalent to nearly three times the weight of the Statue of Liberty.

Nutella Ring

This is a really cute nutella ring & I really want it 😱!

sister at nandos

My sister & her friend went to nandos whilst I was at home alone watching 'Come Dine With Me' (not a good programme to watch when your hungry) & she knew I was hungry & my mum was out to get food, so she had to send a picture of her foooood :(

Looks soo nice!!!

Victoria sponge/sandwich

My mum made me & my sisters a VICTORIA SPONGE cake and it was delicious!

Perparation time: 20mins

Cooking time: 25 mins plus cooling

Serves 10

Ingredients:
175g unsalted butter, plus extra to grease
175g caster sugar
3 medium eggs
175g self raising flour, sifted
3-4 tbsp raspberry or strawberry jam
Icing sugar

1. Preheat oven at 190c (170c fan oven) gas mark 5. Grease two 18cm sandwich tins and base-line with grease proof paper.

2. Put butter and caster sugar into a large bowl and using a handheld electric whisk, beat together until pale and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition - add a spoonful of the flour if the mixture looks as if its about to curdle.

3. Once the eggs are added, use a large metal spoon to fold in the remaining flour. Divide the mixture evenly between the prepared tins and level the surface.

4. Bake in the centre of the oven for 20-25 minuets until the cakes are well risen and spring back when lightly pressed in the centre. Loosen the edges with a palette knife and leave in the tins for 10 mins.

5. Turn out, remove the lining paper and leave to cool on a wire rack. Sandwich the two cakes together with jam and dust with icing sugar or caster sugar. Slice and serve.

Try it - its so tasty!

Clumber Park Spa Hotel

Me & my family are in Nottingham & we are at the Clumber Park Spa Hotel.
It's really nice; it has a swimming pool (that is open 5-7 for kids), sauna, hot tub, spa, free wifi (which is great).

When we went into our room there were two bottles of Shloer - yummm! & my parents had a bottle of champagne & chocolates because its there wedding anniversery.

We went to dinner in the Hotel restaurant which was lovely.

For starters I had:

Pan fried king scallops, curry crème fraiche, mango salsa & crispy ham

It was delicious, but i wanted more scallops!

For main course i had:

salmon fillet wrapped in parma ham, wilted spinach, potato & herb pancake

The salmon was slightly burnt but I loved the potato pancake!

Finally for dessert i had:

Iced rhubarb parfait, rhubarb compote & parkin crumb

It was soo nice! But i thought there would have been rhubarb on its own.

I also had a little bit of my sisters dessert which was a chocolate brownie with chocolate sauce & vanilla ice cream:

It was so good! My mum didn't like it, she said it was to rich but i don't think so!

Overall, i really enjoyed the food & i will definately be going back:)
